In Barasat, 200 packets were given to Partners for Anti-trafficking (PAT) while 100 were delivered to Bansra Birangana Seva Samity (BBSS) and Goranbose Gram Bikash Kendra (GGBK) in Canning.rnrn2) Panchayat help is being denied to some cyclone-affected victims because of the fact that they have pucca houses, despite having suffered damage, reports Anita Pal, from Sanjog. Adding to this, they aren’t in a position to rebuild it themselves largely due to having their funds exhausted because of doing relief work during the lockdown in the pre-Amphan phase.
